About EXIF Metadata
Most photos carry hidden EXIF metadata: the camera or phone model, the exact date and time, exposure settings and often GPS coordinates of where the photo was taken. Sharing a photo online can therefore reveal your home or location without you realising.
This tool reads that metadata so you can see exactly what is embedded, then lets you download a clean copy with the EXIF (including GPS) removed. For JPEGs the strip is lossless – the image pixels are untouched, only the metadata block is deleted.
Is my photo private? Completely. Reading and stripping happen in your browser; nothing is uploaded.
