About the Image Compressor
Add one or more images, choose an output format and a quality level, then press Compress. Each image is redrawn on a canvas and re-encoded at your chosen quality, which usually makes the file much smaller. JPEG and WebP use the quality slider; PNG is lossless, so the slider does not apply to it.
You can also set a max width/height. Large photos are scaled down to fit that size while keeping their shape, which shrinks the file even more. Every image shows its old size, new size and how much was saved.
Is anything uploaded? No. All work is done in your browser, so your images stay on your device.
